2023 is the year of MIYUKI. 5 years since she left her career in science to fully pursue music, Producer, Songwriter, and Multi-instrumentalist MIYUKI has propelled herself to the forefront of the North American electronic music scene, performing on both American coasts and headlining her first theater. Making her debut appearance at Insomniac’s Dreamstate Southern California and Dreamstate San Francisco, MIYUKI is on her way to meteoric ascent.
Classically trained in music since the age of 4 and a trained dancer of over 10 years, MIYUKI has a deep understanding of what moves not only the body, but also the heart. In the studio, she draws on her sensitivity and carefully honed technique to create music that is at once powerful and feminine. Drawing from elements of Trance, Techno, and Hard Dance, MIYUKI’s original songs on Black Hole Recordings and Dreamstate Records have been supported by Armin van Buuren, Andrew Rayel, Aly & Fila, and many others.
On the stage, MIYUKI’s passion and charisma are undeniable. She masterfully connects with the audience, taking them through an unforgettable emotional journey every time. Fans fly out from all over the world to see MIYUKI perform – not only to revel, but also to rejoice, to cry, and to be moved. An early pioneer of DJ livestreaming, MIYUKI’s weekly DJ livestreams attract 600-1000 concurrent viewers from all over the globe, making her a familiar name to listeners worldwide.
At her core, MIYUKI believes music to be the common language that connects all humans. Through her self-penned songs such as “Would You Love Me,” “Need You Like I Need to Breathe,” and “Never Been Alone,” she unites listeners through the quintessential human experience – of trauma, belonging, and love. This desire to connect and to unite drives her, and this is why MIYUKI will never stop making music.
